Glenn’s Obituary Glenn Fuqua Glenn Dewey Fuqua claimed his promise of Heaven on May 7, 2019, in Keller, Texas after a brief period of declining health due to natural causes. He greeted the world on June 1st, 1931, in Sherman, Texas. Glenn was a dedicated Christian servant since his youth.

Glenn lived in many locations throughout Texas during his childhood. Although his family moved often, he remained active in Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from San Angelo High School in 1949.

Shortly thereafter he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served during the period of the Korean conflict as an Air Policeman in California, Idaho, and on the island of Guam. Glenn graduated from Abilene Christian College in 1959 with a B.S. in Business Administration. His passion for computers and programming started in 1961 and lasted until his passing.

He enjoyed the hobbies of photography, painting, computers, and genealogy. Glenn met Enola Terry, the love of his life, in early 1962 and they were married in Brownwood, Texas on June 15th, 1962. Glenn and Enola lived their married life first in San Angelo, then Hurst, Baird, and for 47 years in Keller, Texas.

He was a Deacon of Keller Church of Christ for many years and served in multiple capacities at Christ Haven Home for Children for over fifteen years. Glenn will be most remembered for being a quiet, private, and meek servant of Christ who enjoyed his family and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, John Dewey Fuqua and Anne Eldis (King) Fuqua; and his brother, Louis Fuqua, his only sibling.

He is survived by his wife, Enola Fuqua; son, David and daughter-in-law, Donna Fuqua; daughter, Camille and son-in-law, Scott Alsup; son, Scott and daughter-in-law, Kay Fuqua; grandchildren, Rachel Fuqua, Ashley Fuqua, Erin Alsup, Eric Alsup, Sydney Fuqua, and Alex Fuqua; and many loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Graveside Services for Glenn will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2019, at the Richland Springs Cemetery with Cory Collins officiating. No visitation will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of San Saba.
