Gordon L. “Corky” Ellsworth, age 89, a resident of Northville died Sunday May 26, 2019 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Northville, NY on June 22, 1929. The son of the late Hiram and Mary Kenyon Ellsworth.

He was a graduate of Northville Central School and was a United States Army Veteran. He was employed as a Tacker at Rullison Tannery, Caretaker of Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville and lastly Custodian at the Fulton County Building. On December 9, 1957 he married Dorothy Stuart and she predeceased him on April 10, 2004.

Corky enjoyed family dinners and weekend dances. Survivors include his children; Beverly Shearer of Florida, Donna (John) Wood of Northville, Susan (Scott) Browne of Northville, Diane Fifield of Northville, Bruce (Debbie) Ellsworth of Northville and Gregory (Stephanie) Ellsworth of Northville. One brother; Bob Ellsworth of Northville and one sister; Janice (Jim) Dence of Maine.

Grandchildren; Tammy, Tim, Bobby, Chris, Kelly, JR, Jason, Tom, Matt, Jared, McKenzie, Julia, Alicia and Allison. Great Grandchildren; Jillian, Colin, Jeremy, TJ, Noah, Jonah, Sophia, Alex, Hunter, Mason, and Kaylee. He was predeceased by his wife; Dorothy, sons; Paul and Doug and granddaughter; Jennifer Lynn Hayes.
