Grace E. (Douglas) McBride, 90, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at The Heritage Center. Grace was born on January 23, 1929 in Union County, FL. She was employed at Welborn Hospital before her retirement in 1988.

She was a longtime member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ. She is survived by three sons, Romuald (Paula) McBride, III, Marion McBride and Henry (Nell) McBride; four daughters, Theresa (Kevin Case) McBride, Elizabeth (Randy Copeland) McBride, Catherine (Craig) Jefferson and Mary (Greg) Topolski. Also surviving are one brother, Ories Douglas, 21 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Romuald McBride, Jr. in 2018, by her sister, Marietta Pride in 2014 and by a son, Thomas McBride in 1968. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, Steve Dalp officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Philip Church Cemetery.
