Obituary for Grace Russell Baity Grace Russell Baity, 92, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at her home. Born April 18, 1926 in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Roxie Herring Reynolds. Grace was retired from Phillips Fibers after 22 years of service.

She was a member of Fairforest Church of God and of The Eastern Star, Lyman Chapter 299. Survivors include her husband, Frank “Pete” Harrison Baity, Jr.; her son, Ralph Russell of Boiling Springs, SC; her daughters, Linda Raines of Spartanburg, SC; Judith Russell of Spartanburg, SC; 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a son, Johnny O. “Rusty” Russell, Jr.; a daughter, Carolyn Hackett; a grandson, Brooks Bagwell, and her first husband, Johnny O. Russell, Sr. Visitation will be at 1:00 – 1:45 PM, Tuesday, January 15, 2019 Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Weldon Gosnell. Burial will follow in the Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1101 South Alabama Ave.
