Obituary for Gracie Lee Malone Gracie Lee (Campbell) Malone, 87, departed this life on September 10, 2018, at Providence Anderson Nursing Home. She was born December 26, 1930 in Crawfordsville, Arkansas to Queen Ester Weatherspoon. In 1947 she married Roscoe Malone, and to this union ten children were born.

Gracie was a member of the West Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. She was affectionately known as “Mama Gracie” by her grandchildren, family and friends. She loved gardening and her flowers.

She was a wonderful seamstress and was known for her caramel cakes and butter roll. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends, and never met a stranger. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Delois (Roy) Beasley of Anderson, Nathaniel (Alecia) Malone of Parma, Missouri, Sallie Taylor, Oscar Malone, Jerry (Carolyn) Malone, Charles (Wendy) Malone, Margaret Malone and Deborah Robinson, all of Anderson.

A step son David (Gerri) Malone of Atlanta, Georgia. 27 Grandchildren, Shaun Beasley, Cynthia Beasley-Boyd, Audra Sousa, Nathaniel Sitton, Yolanda Nelson, Nathan Malone, Angela Malone, Terrance Malone, Micheal Malone, Johnny Buchanan, Kenny Buchanan, Rico Buchanan, Nicole Pratcher, Mazio Pratcher, Oriel Pratcher, Joseph Pratcher, Kevin Byrd, Renada Byrd, Megan Malone, CJ Malone, Zack Malone, Demetrius Malone, Terry Smith, Jr., Ty’Riece Smith, Ebony Robinson, Desiree Robinson, and Charlene Robinson. 52 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Two sisters-in-law Betty Malone of West Memphis, Arkansas and Jessie Malone of Forrest City, Arkansas. Also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Queen Ester Weatherspoon, her husband Roscoe Malone, her children Frank Malone and Charlene Malone, 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 17, 2018, 12-1 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will follow visitation at 1 pm at the funeral home with Elder Rich VanSickle officiating. Burial will take place at the East Maplewood Cemetery.
