McAllen, Texas Graciela Solis Luna, 82, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her residence in McAllen surrounded by her family. Graciela was born on January 3, 1937 in Camargo, Mexico to Adalberto Solis and Concepcion (Lopez) Solis. Graciela was a resident of Dallas, Texas for more than 20 years where she owned and operated Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant.

She had lived in McAllen since 2005. Graciela was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in McAllen. Graciela enjoyed collecting coins.

She loved being a seamstress. Though no children of her own, she loved her numerous nieces and nephews. Graciela was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband- Alberto E. Luna.

Left to cherish her memory are her Siblings- Griselda Tijerina, Dennis Solis, Cristela Solis de Romero, Francisco Javier Solis, Lazara Solis, Armandina Solis, Rebecca Luna, Rey Luna; Numerous of nieces and nephews- Ivis J. Solis, Francisco J.Solis, Jesus Solis, Sergio Solis, Angel Solis, Reynaldo Tijerina, Joaquina A. Tijerina, Agustin Tijerina, Edna Tijerina, Maria Tijerina, Antonia Tijerina, Sylvia Solis, Roberto Solis, Dagaberto Solis, Lazara Garza, Sandra Rodriguez, Monica Pena, Elfego Solis, and Sorayda Rodriguez. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Rivera Funeral Home,1901 Pecan Blvd. from 1:00 pm To 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM.

Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Rivera Funeral Home in McAllen.
