OBITUARY Greg Payne January 21, 1963 – October 14, 2018 Mr. Greg Payne, 55, of Baton Rouge died Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his home in Baton Rouge. Mr. Payne was a graduate of Broadmoor High School Class of 1981 and attended LSU. He was a volunteer firefighter for the St. George Fire Department and served in the United States Marine Corps.

Gregory had a zest for life and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Payne and his maternal grandparents, Virginia and Harold Baker. He is survived by his wife, Renee Coxe Payne; two children, Leslie Payne and Douglas Payne; mother, Linda Baker Payne; brother, Tim Payne and numerous other family members.

Services will be at 11:00am Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Greenoaks Funeral Home-9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815 with visitation from 9:00am to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park-9595 Florida Blvd.
