It was a sudden but peaceful passing. Gregg was a very busy man despite his disability.

He had a passion for working for the Lord. He was a youth pastor, enjoyed working with several food pantries, as well as serving as safety personnel for Desert Springs Church. Gregg enjoyed his work with Western Indian Ministries and will be fondly remembered for his love for music, especially native tribal music, heavy metal, punk and new wave.

His favorite past time was watching Star Wars and also collecting the action figures. If ever you went with him to WalMart and lost him, the first place you would look was in the toy department. He also was a fabulous husband and dad, always taking care of his family and friends.

Gregg was always there for you if you need someone to talk to. He never let his disabilities drag him down. Even if he was hurting, he always made sure the job was done.

We all loved him very much and he will be greatly missed. Gregg was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Pohuma and by his brother, Jeffrey Pohuma. He is survived by his beloved mother, Donna Pohuma; his treasured wife, Karen Pohuma; his dear daughter, Nicole Pohuma and son in law, Josh Burrows.

He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Desert Springs Church, 705 Osuna Rd. NE.

on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chuck Harper, officiating. A reception will follow in the Church hall.
