Andres “Andy” T Gonzales June 22, 1934 – February 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Andres T. “Andy” Gonzales, born June 22, 1934, passed away February 4, 2019. He was preceded in death by parents, Andres C. Gonzales and Adelina T. Gonzales, sisters Karen Lee and Camelia, and brother Charles. Andy is survived by six daughters; Lorraine Elliot, Kathy Cleavall, Mona Howell, Liz Gonzales, Paula Gonzales, and Carolyn Gonzales-Smith; brothers Don, Edward, Jim, Norm and John.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Andy was a graduate of Albuquerque High School, a U.S. Army Veteran, a musician with a quick wit and great sense of humor. In his final years, Andy was blessed to be cared for by the exceptional staff at The Rio at Las Estancias, especially our dear cousin, Rosemary Baca, a nurse there.

Andy’s “girls” wish to especially thank our beloved Uncle Eddie and Aunt MaryAnne Gonzales. They sacrificed much for many years, caring for our father in their quiet, selfless, unwavering way. We are eternally grateful.

A Memorial Church Service and Interment Service at the Santa Fe National Cemetery is pending and will be announced.
