Obituary for Gretchen Root Gretchen Root, age 73, of Miamisburg, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born on June 30, 1945 to the late Wilfred and Florence Borne. She was preceded in death by her sister, Garland Nims.

Gretchen is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Lee) McWain; son, William (Vanessa) Root; five grandchildren, Ashley, Abigail, Clayton, Rachel, Parker and sister, Mary Feske. Memorial services are 3:00pm Friday, January 11, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 111 West Monument Ave. , Dayton, Ohio.
