Gwen Boyd, 52, of Huntsville, passed away on Wednesday. Gwen was a devoted Christian, mother, and grandmother. Her children and her grandchildren were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death her father, Wilfred Fisher, and by her brother, Sammy Fisher. Surviving family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Tanya & Toby Winkles; Her daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Zac Biddle; Her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan & Ashley Boyd; Her five grandchildren: Ansley Boyd, Knox Boyd, Bentley Winkles, Olivia McKenzie, and Lily McKenzie; Her mother, Jean Fisher; Her brothers and sister, Barry Fisher, Tommy Fisher, and Donna Wright. She is also survived by her long-time special friend, Bennie Brantley along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 11am at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Bro. Benny Jenkins officiating.

Burial will be in Charity Cemetery . Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
