Mr. Bobby Wilson, 70, of Meridianville, Alabama, passed away on Monday at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had served in the Vietnam War in 1968-69. He was a retired electrician and loved to fish, camp, and spend time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Benny Wilson and Billy Wilson, and by his sister, Patricia Jo Birdsong. Surviving family members include his wife of 37 years, Linda J. Wilson; His daughter, Brandy Wilson Whitt; His son, Jason Burrough; His grandsons: Cody Burrough, Billy Childers, Stoney Childers, and Chris Childers; His three sisters: Charlotte Hooper, Connie Young, and Janie Wright; His brother: Ricky Wilson. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2pm at the funeral home with Bishop Danny Garrison and Bro. Ray Hardin officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Plainview Cemetery.
