He went to walk with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Elk City Nursing Center in Elk City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

He married his best friend and sweetheart, Naomi Lee Ringo on October 13, 1939 in Burns Flat, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2013.
