William Luther Yow, 89, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on March 11, 1929 in Magazine, Arkansas. He is the son of Paul William Yow and Ora Jency Wingfield. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

He has owned and operated Yow Auto Supply for over 53 years in Elk City, Oklahoma, first opening in 1965.

He enjoyed tinkering on his tractors and old cars. He loved traveling in his motor home and square dancing. He will be remembered for always having a smile on his face, a story to tell and joking around.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Church of God in Elk City, Oklahoma. Brother Joe Thompson will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Cherishing his memory are his son, William Jeffery Yow (Jeff) and his wife, Cynthia of Elk City, Oklahoma; three daughters, Janet Lynn Dillingham, Jaye Lynnette Womack and her husband, Jeff and Jamie Lou Tosh and her husband, Steve all of Elk City, Oklahoma; one brother, Larry Yow and his wife, Nelda of Duncan, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Eric Yow, Jennifer Dillingham and her companion, Cody Crow, Amanda Shepherd and her husband, Gabe all of Elk City, Oklahoma, Kristen Tosh of Edmond, Oklahoma, Leann Arndt and her husband, Eric, Megan Werth and her husband, Josh, Adam Yow and his wife, Jennie and Kyle Tosh and his wife, Marnie all of Elk City, Oklahoma and his special friend, Beverly Petross and Star Bella. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janette; parents Paul and Ora Yow; sister, Virginia Ray and one son-in-law, Henry Dillingham.
