OBITUARY Harold Austin Mayfield March 7, 1932 – January 30, 2019 Harold Austin Mayfield went to be with his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior at the age of 86 on January 30, 2019. He was a long time resident of Weston Lakes located in Fulshear, TX. Harold was born in the East Texas town of Murchison on March 7, 1932.

He was preceded in death by his son Steven Allen Mayfield in Houston, TX. He is survived by his wife Barbara, whom he married on June 8, 1957, who he cherished and treasured for 61 loving years; his daughter and son in law, Steve and Beverly McAdory; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. After graduating from Texas Tech with a degree in Geophysics, Harold spent his entire career in the Energy industry with Exxon and ConocoPhillips, finding multiple s and of oil and gas.

Retiring early to their home in Fulshear, TX he enjoyed many years of golfing and antiquing with his lovely wife. Harold and Barbara were longtime members of Encourager Church for over 25 years and a Celebration of Harold’s life will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Encourager Church in Houston, TX. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God”.
