Mr. Harold Gaddie Hall, 87, of Cedar Creek, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 in Fayetteville, NC. He was born on July 29, 1930, in Cumberland County, NC to the late Chester and Flora Mae West Hall. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and the recipient of The Purple Heart and The Bronze Service Star, and numerous medals and commendations.

Harold was a longtime member of Judson Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Royal Ambassadors Leader. Harold also worked for Cumberland County School Systems during his life. He retired from Civil Services at Fort Bragg.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred A. Hall and three brothers. Harold is survived by one son, Mitchell Hall Sr. and wife Beth, of Cedar Creek, NC; one grandson, Mitchell Hall, Jr. and wife Christi, of Clement, NC; one granddaughter, Ashley Dodson and fiancée James Sukes, of Cedar Creek, NC; three great-granddaughters, Gracyn Hall, Kyla Dodson, and Kensley Dodson. The family will receive friends from on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Judson Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Judson Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at sullivanshighland.com.
