OBITUARY Harold P. Fesler June 25, 1941 – December 11, 2018 Harold P. “John” Fesler, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Parkview Hospice in Fort Wayne. He was born in Martinsville, IN to the late Harold M. and Wahneta E. Fesler. He was head of security at Ivy Tech Community College until his retirement.

He proudly volunteered for the St. Joe Township Fire Department for 20 years and served as chief for 8 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church and he served honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard. John enjoyed watching his granddaughter play softball and was an avid sports fan.

Surviving are his children, John Fesler and Michelle (Mark) Linnemeier; grandchildren, Skyler, Jade, and Zachary; and sister, Gretchen Koons. John was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Ann Fesler; son; William R. Jackson; and sister, Carolyn Scherer. Service is Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park with calling from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service.
