Obituary for Harold “Popeye” Milby Obituary of Harold Milby Harold Franklin “Popeye” Milby, 87 years, 3 months and 28 days of age of Campbellsville, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Harold was born in Cartwright Township, IL on December 17, 1930 the son of the late Homer and Lillian Morgan Milby. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Sapp Milby and siblings, Marie Mitchell, Leonard Milby and Arey Milby.
He had retired from Ingersoll-Rand and in his spare time enjoyed working on old cars. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church in Green County. Surviving are two sisters and 3 brothers, Iva Louise Dobson of Greensburg, Patsy Moran and husband David of Sand Lick, Edward Lee (Toad) Milby and wife Jean of Gabe, William Lee Milby and wife Geraldine of Greensburg and Donald Wayne Milby and wife Ila Gay of Campbellsville.
The funeral service for Harold Franklin “Popeye” Milby will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Noe Officiating. Burial will follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with bearers being, Gary Caven, Larry Caven, Tim Milby, Bobby Price, Steve Kelly and Greg Murphy.
The family request visitation be between the hours of 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy are requested to be donations to Brush Creek Baptist Church and may be made at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.
