Harold Richard Alvin Dickman May 23, 1931 – December 28, 2018 Harold Richard Alvin Dickman, 87, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 surrounded by his family in his home. He was born on May 23, 1931 to Emil and Marie (nee Schultz) Dickmann, the youngest of four children. He passed away in the same room in which he was born.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Reformed Church in Campbellsport. At the time of his death, he was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport. Harold attended school through the eighth grade.

After attending a few weeks of high school, he decided he would rather spend his time hunting, fishing and trapping. He stayed on the farm to help his parents while his brothers joined the army and he continued farming the homestead after his parents died. On April18,1965 he married Gerda Gedrowitz at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin and had seven children.

After he retired from farming, Harold worked for the Town of Auburn where he ran the recycling center, did road work, plowed snow and other odd jobs. In his spare time, he enjoyed driving around the township to check things out. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Gerda; his children, Henri (Tammy), Gail Homuth (Brad), Sarah Hibbert (Jim), Ronald (Sarah), Stephen (Eileen), David (Heather) and Paul (Jenny).

His grandchildren will also miss their grandpa. They are Delaney and Megan, Catrin, Tessa, Emmett and Sadie, Amelia and Lucas, Derek and Sean, Calen and Meara, and Alex. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Ovila Ringhand and her husband Arlie, his brother Ralph and his wife Deloris, his brother Lloyd and his wife Leonore, and a granddaughter, Elysia.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. in Born: May 23, 1931 Death: December 28, 2018 Campbellsport. Rev.

Paul Cerny will officiate. Visitation will take place at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Family and friends are welcome.
