Harriet E. (Morton) White, 82, of Carlisle, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Green Ridge Village with her family at her side. She was born September 25, 1935 in Saville Township, Perry County to the late George M. and Kathryn J. Weibley Morton, Sr. and was the widow of Dale R. White, Sr. Harriet had retired from the Carlisle Tire and Rubber and had been a school bus driver for the Carlisle Area School District. Family met the most to Harriet especially her grandsons and their children. She is survived by her daughter, Debra K. and husband Gary Rhoades of Carlisle; two grandsons, Jeffrey and wife Benicia Rhoades and Brian and wife April Rhoades; two great grandchildren, Trevor and Brianna and two great-great grandsons, Colby and Kayden. She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney E. Morton and three brothers, Weldon S., John S., and George M. Morton, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013 with her Pastor, Rev.

Jim Klock officiating. Interment will be in the Youngs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale, PA. There will be a viewing on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Plainfield First Church of God, 2089 Newville Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.
