Harriet F. Kemp, 86 of Brooklyn Ct. passed away Monday March 4, 2019. Born to Andrew and Minnie (Knight) Kemp in Hampton Ct.

August 21, 1932. Harriet graduated from Windham High School in 1950 and remained in the area her entire life. Working in many manufacturing firms in the area, including the Electro Motive, in Willimantic, Semco,in N.Windham,Rogers Corperation in S.Windham and finally Whitcraft Group in Eastford, ending her working years at 80 years old.

Her most enjoyable of all, the people, the friends she met to last the remainder of her days. Friendships she held so dear to her. Harriet was fond of spending time with her family, breakfast out, and socializing on Facebook and playing Cash word, instant lottery tickets.

She was known for her witty personality, her straight forward speaking and honesty, the sincere Swamp Yankee no nonsense attitude. Harriet is survived by her son Francis Feltenberger and his wife Sue of Willimantic Ct. Daughters Linda Perry of Biddeford Me.

Ruth Halbach and her husband David of Hampton, sister Sue Brayman of Norwich, CT. brother Len Howell and his wife Sue of Vernon,Ct. Step children Judith Chobot of Plainfield,Ct.

Jeanne Doran of W. Palm Beach Fla, and David Feltenberger of L.A. CA. Thirteen grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. .

Harriet was predeceased by her son Phil Feltenberger. Brothers, Judson Kemp, Thomas Howell, Michael Howell,John Howell, George Howell Phil Kemp, Herbert Kemp, and Robert Howell, Sisters Minne Halbach and Dorothy Howell. Harriet’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 10th from 10:00 am to noon at Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St. (Rte.

195), Willimantic. Due to the inclement weather, burial will be at a later time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Harriet to a charity of the donors choice.
