Obituary for Harriet Higgs Harriet Kennard Higgs (90) of Reisterstown passed away on June 30, 2018 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Mrs. Higgs was born on July 28, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William H. and Elsie Kramer Kennard. She was married to the late Warner T. Higgs.

Harriet was a bank teller with Central Savings Bank for 30 years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and spending time at the Senior Center playing Mahjong and bingo. She had traveled to Alaska and Ireland with friends and her sister in law Ruth Higgs.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and she was known for her dry sense of humor and strong work ethic. She is survived by her children, William T. Higgs of Reisterstown, Nancy E. Suder and her husband Larry of Hampstead and Thomas W. Higgs and his wife Pam of Mt Airy; grandchildren Joseph Suder, Andrew Suder, Tyler Higgs and Rachelle Higgs. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street, Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 6pm to 7pm. Service will begin at 7pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave. , Westminster, MD 21157 or Grace Lutheran Church, Prayer Shawl Ministry, 21 Carroll Street, Westminster, MD 21157.
