Obituary for Gladys Sheeler (Gouker) Gladys A. Sheeler, 76, of Millers, passed away on October 26, 2018 at her home. Born January 25, 1942 in Sparks, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Gladys (Austin) Gouker. She was the wife of Joseph E. Sheeler.

She was a member of Alesia Free Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Jannette Anthony and husband Todd of Millers, MD, and Betty Ann Mott; son, Joseph E. Sheeler, Jr. of Manchester, MD; sister, Nancy Staton of Millers, MD; grandson, Hunter Sheeler; great-granddaughter, Payton Sheeler; and sister-in-law Jean Gouker. She was predeceased by siblings Ann & Kenneth Otto, Estella & Vernon Kolk, Doris & Cecil Troxel, Mary Gouker, Johnny Gouker, Pauline & Junior Racine, and Earl Gouker.

The family will receive friends on Thursday November 1, 2018 from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at Alesia Free Methodist Church, 4250 Alesia Lineboro Road, Millers, MD. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Eline Funeral Home, Hampstead.
