Obituary for Bobbie Joe Evans Bobbie Joe Evans, 73, of Finksburg, MD passed away on November 13, 2018. Born October 13, 1945 in Wilson, NC, he was the son of the late Leamon and Sarah (Bailey) Evans and the devoted husband of Donna J. Evans. Bobbie served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps.

Before retiring he served for 28 years as a Baltimore County Corrections Officer and Primary Marksmanship Instructor. His family remembers him as being a “jack of all trades” always tinkering with some new project. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in the great outdoors.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Billy Wayne Evans, Sr and sister, Geraldine Burgoon. Bobbie is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Donna J. Evans; his two daughters: Bobbi Jo Evans, Terri Moore; son, Tom Bryant, two grandchildren Hannah Evans, Tyler Evans; brother-in-law, Thomas Burgoon and numerous nieces & nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018, 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 2901 Bloom Rd, Finksburg, MD. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. A private family interment will be held in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
