Obituary for Laura Virginia Ball (Walker) Laura Virginia Ball, 85, of Hampstead, passed away on Sunday December 16, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House, Westminster. Born July 7, 1933 in Freeland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Anna (Tracey) Walker. She was the wife of the late Ernest Ball.

She had been a purchasing clerk at Black & Decker prior to retirement. Surviving are her nephew, Larry Baker of Falling Waters, WV; nieces, Leona Pugh of Freeland, MD, and Doris “Sue” McQuay of New Freedom, PA; brother, Richard Walker of White Hall, MD. She was predeceased by siblings Elva Cook, Mary Zimmerman, Glen Walker, Lewis Walker, Doris Pugh, Charles Walker and Alan Walker.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead. Services and interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept.
