Harrison Timothy Boam was born on November 25, 1994 to Dale and Tammis Robbins Boam, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Bluffdale, Utah. Harrison was married on January 4, 2018 to Cherisse Scott when he happily became the father of five beautiful children; Julian, Asher, Lilith, Kara Sue and Hunter.

Harrison’s favorite t-shirt read, “My Favorite People Call Me Dad”. Harrison was a compassionate and loving soul, who would have saved the whole world if that were possible. He joined the Marines, which had been a life long goal of his, and was preparing to leave for training later this summer.

He was an avid hiker, camper and outdoorsman. He loved the majesty of God’s creation. He served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Philippines, Cavite mission and had a deep and abiding love for the people of the Philippines, as well as Filipino food!

Harrison graduated from Olympus High School in 2013 and attended Utah Valley University. Harrison is survived by his wife, Cherisse Boam and his step-children Julian Bogucki(13), Asher Hoffman(9), Lilith Hoffman(8), Kara Sue Scott(6) and Hunter Scott(3), his parents; Tammis and Dale Boam and his siblings; Max(21), Eleanor(13) and Edward(10), his grandparents Wayne and Sharon Boam and Mike and Susan Robbins. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 27, at the Holladay 18th Ward Building at 2625 East Milo Way from 6-8 in the evening.

A second viewing will be held at the same location on Saturday, July 28, at 9:30 with the funeral following at 11:00. We are grateful for every person who mentored, taught, disciplined, played with, counseled, loved and laughed with Harrison during his life. He was surrounded by the love of the gospel and for that and for you we are grateful.
