Charles I. Walters passed away on Monday July 9, 2018 at the University of Utah Medical Center after an accident at home. He was surrounded by family at the time of his passing. Charles was born on April 14, 1938 to Leander and Estaline Walters in Calhoun, La.

He served in the United States Army from 1957-1960. While stationed at Dugway, Utah he met his future wife, Carolyn M. Gowans. They were married on September 6, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Charles retired from the Tooele Army Depot in 1993 Charles is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn. His Children, Max (Lauren) Karen (John) and Scott (Kim). 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren on the way.

He is also survived by his brothers Manuel (Sue) and Milton (Vancy) and one sister, Brenda (Ken), and many nieces and nephews.
