Arlene Jane Church was born to Wilbert McGinnis and Kathleen Naomi McGinnis in Lafayette Indiana on June 11, 1939. She went home to be with God on August 25, 2018 after a brief battle with an infection. She was married to Larry Lee Church in Attica Indiana On April 19, 1963.

She was a housewife for many years until 1983 when she started working at the Great American Motor Inn where she became general manger until her retirement in 2003. She went to Lincoln Bible College in Lincoln, Il. Arlene became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints, after moving to Utah in 1977.

She had a sense of humor and a love for animals, but she loved spending time with her family most. Arlene leaves behind 2 children, whom she loved very much; Michael Lee Church (Tammy wife) of Tooele, Utah, and Dana Marie Clute (Kirk Husband) of Oxford Indiana; 2 grandchildren Ryan George Church (Chey wife) of Murray, Utah and Marie Ann Clute Of Oxford Indiana; 2 great grand-children Lucain Church and Anora Church of Murray Utah. She is preceded in death by parents; Wilbert McGinnis and Naomi McGinnis and her husband Larry Lee Church and a grandson Adam Michael Church and a nephew Todd Brian Chapman.
