Our beloved son James Dennis McConnell Jr. age 56 Took his peaceful journey to our Father in Heaven, September 19,2018 He had more friends than you could count, he had a love for people and they all loved him with a passion. He was born on December 2, 1961. In San Jose, California to Karen Hatch Shaffer and James Mc Connell Jr

He attended schools in New Jersey and San Jose California. He went to Gold Beach Oregon to study hands on Carpentry and Structure Painting. There he became certified.

He joined the Army and became a Sergeant. He really wanted to go to Germany. The person who was trying to recruit him said: I will see to it that you go to Germany.

Jimmy signed up. He got to go to Germany three years later. He worked for Food-For-Less in Medford, Oregon.

He became the youngest Manager they ever had at age of 20. Five years later, he opened his business of Painting and continued through September 19, 2018. He loved riding his Harley and being with his dog.

His goal was to retire and move onto his property in Duchesne, Utah. James is Preceded in death by his Great Grand Parents Lila Mitchell and Anson Hatch. Grandparents Verlin Mitchell Hatch and Bessie Carter Hatch, brother Micheal Lewis Alparone.

He is survived by; Mother and Step Father Karen (Hatch) Shaffer and Richard Vernon Shaffer. Brothers and Sisters, Laurie (Alparone) Meyer has 4 children, Patricia(Alparone)Richardson, has 5 children, Annemarie Alparone has 4 children, Kimmy Gathwright has 2 children.
