Dustin M. Bolliger born on May 3rd 1965 in Murray, Utah, passed away on September 26th, 2018 in West Jordan, Utah. He is survived by his two beautiful children, Dustin Johnson (DJ) Bolliger, Lexis M. Bolliger, mother Patricia Bolliger, siblings Gordon Bolliger, Shelby (Pedro) Bolliger, Pamela (Dave) Lindsey, Paula (Dyke) Malstrom, and best friend—earthly ministering angel, President Brad McDonald. He was preceded in death by his father Eldon Bolliger, brother Lyndon Bolliger and sister Tara Bolliger.

Dustin grew up in Sandy, Utah and attended Jordan High School where he would have been happy to stay forever surrounded by his many friends. He played football, baseball, and golf. He had a natural ability in all sports commented on by his numerous coaches and peers.

He married Rose Dee Dee Johnson (Buckingham) on May 17th 1990 and they were later divorced but they remained friends through the ups and downs of mortal life and watching their children grow. Dustin was extremely proud of both of his kids and always mentioned he wouldn’t know what to do without them. He was impressed at how good and decent they had turned out as young adults.

Dustin loved spending time with DJ and Lexis and took them fishing and golfing whenever he could. Some of their funniest and fondest memories together were up at East Canyon while fishing and on the golf course. Dustin had a warm sensitive heart and was always for the underdog.

He loved watching football and his KC Chiefs. As they play Denver this Monday we know Lexis and her dad will be especially thinking of each other as these were the games of much bantering between father and daughter. Everyone that knew Dustin described him as a “character”.

He could make everyone laugh, even when you were mad at him. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 11:30 to12:45 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah followed by graveside services and dedication at the Tooele City Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
