Robert Don Terry “Bob”, age 72 from Vernon, Utah returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday October 7, 2018. Bob was born on July 17, 1946 in Spring City, Utah, to Henry L. and Leala (Jenson) Terry. He graduated from Grantsville High School in 1964.

He married Mildred Deanna Nuesmeyer on December 4, 1964 in Tooele, Utah and was sealed as a family for time and all eternity in the Provo Temple on March 12, 1977. He retired from the Tooele Army Depot in 1995 and in 2007 retired for good from Jacobs at the Dugway Proving Ground. He loved dutch oven cooking, riding ATVs, and camping with his family.

Bob’s favorite hobbies were team roping and riding his horses. He enjoyed working with cattle for the local ranchers. Bob was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and faithfully served in various positions as well as serving on the Vernon Town Council.

Bob is survived by his wife. Children: Susan (John) Brewer, Kearns; Glenn (Lisa) Terry, Grantsville; and Karen (Benji) Gonzales, Tooele. Grandchildren: Amanda (Andrew) Visser, Stephanie (David) Higham, Charlene (Stephen) Anderson, Robert Gonzales, Kayla (Henry) Makaafi, James Terry, Matthew Brewer, Daniel Gonzales, Sharen (Jeremy) Petersen, Alexandria Terry and seven great grandchildren.

Three brothers and three sisters: Charles (Ann) Terry, Ted (LeeAnn) Terry, Bonnie Weyland, Joan Archibald, Nola Norton and Steve (Jeanette) Terry. Sister in law Glenice Moore. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth, sister Lola, and granddaughter JudyAnn Terry.

There will be a viewing on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main St., Tooele from 6 – 8 P.M. Funeral services are Saturday, October 13, 2018, at 12 o’clock at the Vernon LDS Church, 280 N. Main St., Vernon. An additional viewing will be held prior to the services from 10:00 -11:45 A.M. Interment will be at the Vernon City Cemetery.
