Harry Vaughn Younger, 67, born on October 12, 1951 to Harry Leonard Younger and Elizabeth Potter Younger. Husband to Frances Carmody-Key Younger. He was proud to be the younger Younger brother in the gang to Joe and Perry Younger.

He adored his sisters-in-law, Vicky and Gail. He was known as Papa Vaughn to Austin Bolin, Alex Bolin, Abigail Bolin, Connor Bolin, Damian Wyatt Bolin, Gabriel McKinney, Aiden Key, Gavin Key and Samual Urish. He was lovingly called Mr. Chipper to the Chicod family, and Unk Vaughn to his nieces and nephews.

For all the rest, he was known as a friend. He called Tommy Miller his “bestest friend like-a-brother ever”. Vaughn went to greet his savior on January 18, 2019.

He looked forward to the day he would greet his parents and embrace his granddaughter, Cailie Grace. He wanted you to know he wasn’t limping, he was laughing and praising God. Word had it that St. Peter told him to stop telling jokes and pass on through.

Others were waiting. He lived a life of service to others. His large family will miss him.

It was his wish that if something happened to him, remember to take good care of his dogs and drive the truck carefully. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday January 22nd at 2:00 pm at Farmer Funeral Service-Chapel. The family will greet guests as they exit the funeral home.
