Obituary of Harry Pratt Brewer – Harry W. Pratt, Sr. , 85, husband of Judith A. (Payson) Pratt, died Nov. 4, 2018 at his home in Brewer. He was born Jan.

14, 1933 in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Merton Pratt, Sr. and Dorothy (Bragg) Pratt. Harry was a graduate of Foxcroft Academy and was a hard worker his whole life. He was a truck driver for many years and also worked as a mechanic owning and operating his automobile service station business on the corner of State St. and North Main in Brewer.

Harry was a longtime member of the Anah Temple Shrine. He loved his family deeply and he enjoyed the time he spent working in his flower garden, tending his birds and tinkering with his “stuff”. Surviving in addition to his wife of Brewer are four children, Dolores Miller and her husband, Dwight of Newburgh, Tamerri Hall and her husband, Brian of Glenburn, Hope Lee and her husband, Marty of Bangor and Harry Pratt, Jr. and his wife, Jeannie of Bradley; seven grandchildren, Brandon Miller and his wife, Carolyn, Jeremy Miller, Heith Pratt, Brandee Lee, Preston Pratt, Judson Pratt and his wife, Jenna and Austin Pratt; 11 great grandchildren; four brothers, William of Bangor, Malcolm and his wife, Mary of Lincolnville, Merton and his wife, Lula of Guilford and Robert of Connecticut; three sisters, Dorothy and her husband, Ben of Cambridge, Mary of Portland and Maxine of So.

Dakota; niece and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Roberta and a brother, Adelbert. Harry’s family gratefully thanks the staff of VNA Hospice and CancerCare of Maine for the excellent care they provided.

Family and friends may visit 4 – 7 PM Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 69 State St., Brewer. Burial will be a Clewleyville Cemetery in Holden.
