Hazel McCain Cliatt, 92, of Valley, AL passed away Monday, November 6, 2018 at Phenix City Healthcare in Phenix City, AL. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm EDT (1:00 pm CDT), Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church in Beulah, AL. A private interment will follow at Parkhill cemetery in Columbus, GA.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm EDT, one hour before the service, at the church. Mrs. Cliatt was born July 10, 1926 in Langdale, AL daughter of the late Nellie McCain and Neaty Aaron McCain. She retired as a Registered Nurse after 20 years of service, where she worked at both Cobb Hospital and East Alabama Medical Center.

Mrs. Cliatt was a long time member of Beulah Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Patrick Cliatt; a sister, Virginia Kelly and a brother Edsel McCain. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Giordano and husband Gary, Rhonda Prather and husband Bobby and Candice Mobley and husband Tom; one son, Charles N. Cliatt and wife Sheri; nine grandchildren, Chris, Brett, Jennilynn, Aaron, Brooke, Nikki, Lauren, Shay and Chase; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family, as well as, many friends.
