Kathy Sue LaFleur, 65, of Columbus, GA passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Saturday, December 29, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. (EST) with Pastor Jeff Struecker officiating. The interment will conclude at Parkhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 28, 2018 at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (EST). Kathy was born on March 22, 1953 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Berneice Rowcliff. She retired from Kellogg’s after working there for 26 years.

Kathy was a loving and giving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Those who knew her will always remember her as a selfless and caring person with a big heart. Other than her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith; sister, Louise Gorman; brothers, Bernard Rowcliff, John Rowcliff, and Larry Rowcliff.

Survivors include her daughters, Mia Henson and companions, Shay and David, Melissa Gordy and husband, Garrett; sons, Tracy Rowcliff and wife, Glennda, Robert Lafleur and wife, Kira; sisters, Shelley Vlcek, Cheryll Rowcliff; brothers, Ricky Rowcliff and Mark Rowliff; grandchildren, Chris LaFleur, Joey Walter, Mallory Gordy, Matthew Yanez, Rhianna LaFleur, Charleigh LaFleur, Felicia Free; great-grandchildren, Elicia Allen and Julian Rasado; numerous nieces and nephews; many friends from Kellogg’s.
