Jeanne Honnell, 43, of Seale, Alabama, passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 15, 2018. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Rev. Robert Rhodes on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 12:00 Noon EST at Mt.

Lebanon Baptist Church located at 1954 Hwy 165 Cottonton, AL. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM EST at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home 3738 Hwy.

431 N. Phenix City, AL. Mrs. Honnell was born in Columbus, GA, the daughter of the late Bobby and Shirley Collins Prophitt. She attended Jordan High School and later worked as a service writer for Bill Heard Chevrolet.

In addition to her parents, Jeanne was also preceded in death by a brother Jonathan Denney. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of Cottonton Baptist Church. Jeanne loved life and was committed to serving others through her selfless giving and volunteer work.

Jeanne’s acts of devotion include the toy collection for needy children, and volunteering at The Gardens Assisted Living Facility. She loved NASCAR and had attended several different race tracks in person. Jeanne was an avid Auburn football fan and was extremely passionate and involved when watching her team play.

But above all, she was a devoted wife, mother and Nana to her family which she enjoyed spending time with and endlessly gave of herself. Left to cherish Jeanne’s memory is her loving husband of 16 years Jeff Honnell, two daughters Brittany Ann Weaver and her husband Justin of Ft. Mitchell, AL and Mareha Brooke Belanger of Seale, AL and her fiance’ Cody Lynn of Auburn, AL; one son Christopher Bryce Fowler of Pittsview, AL; two brothers Jeremy Denney and wife Diana and Jesse Denney all of Phenix City, AL; two grandchildren Jonathan and Malakhi Weaver; a Very Special Friend Deborah Davis along with several nieces and nephews.
