Obituary for Helen Brashear Mabe Helen Brashear Mabe, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away Friday September 14, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Upton to Elmer and Dollie Conners Brashear. She was a Homemaker and a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Sonora. She was preceded in death by her Parents, two Sisters, Mary Frances McDowell, and Kathryn Embry. She is survived by her two Sons, Scott Mabe of Elizabethtown, KY, David Mabe of Lexington, KY, a Daughter, Deborah Acker of Versailles, KY, one Brother, Daymond Brashear of Sonora, KY, four Grandchildren, Melissa Acker, Bobby Acker, Jake Mabe, Jordan Mabe, two Great Grandchildren, Zoe Cox, and Gabby Thomas Funeral Services will be held Thursday September 20, 2018 11:00 am at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY With Rev.

Tony Carson officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Thursday 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
