Obituary for Kenneth D. Alvey Kenneth D. Alvey, 74, of Upton, passed away Thursday September 6, 2018 at his Residence in Upton. He was born in Upton to Hillard and Eva Miller Alvey. He retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 18 years.

He was a member of Upton Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Parents. He is survived by his Wife Brenda Alvey of Elizabethtown, KY.

a Daughter, Sara Carroll of Upton, KY, one Brother, David (Norma) Alvey of Upton, KY, two Grandchildren, Jacob Carroll, Dillon Carroll, two special Friends, Danny Wheeler, and Jimmy Wheeler Funeral Services will be held Sunday September 9, 2018 2:00 pm at Manakee Funeral Home in Upton, KY With Rev. John Smith officiating. Burial will be held at the Sonora Cemetery.
