Helen E. Phillips, 80 of Mt. Carmel, formerly of Williamsport, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital. She was born February 7, 1939, in Clifton Spring NY and was a daughter of the late Crawford and Louise Powell Kline.

Helen married her husband Floyd Phillips on June 15, 1963, in Williamsport. She was a homemaker for her family and in 1999 she moved to Mt. Carmel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Phillips, who died Nov. 17, 1994 in Williamsport, two daughters Lisa, and Stacey, sister Lois Corbett, two brothers, Francis and Robert Davis and a granddaughter Nichole Phillips Post. She is survived by a daughter Christine E. Phillips, with whom she made her home, a son Floyd and Susanne Phillips, of Williamsport, five grandchildren: Micheal Phillips and his wife Cheryl , Joseph Philips and his wife Tisha Phillips, Rosa, Shalynn, and Destiny Phillips, great-grandchildren: Ben, Summer, Jocelyn, Sierra, Kurt, Nash, Abbey, and Cooper, great great grandchildren:Teagan, Mercedes, Adrianna, and Mikaylah.

She also had very close friends Brian and Andrea Bidelspach, with whom she lived with for a while and cared for their 6 children. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Allen R. Horne Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 193 McIntyre Road, Catawissa.
