Obituary for Helen M. Frye Helen M. Frye, 89, of Cheyenne, passed away June 25th at her home. She was born in Ft. Collins on April 11, 1929 to George and Mildred Wichman.

She was raised at Horse Creek Community and JHD Division of the Warren Livestock Ranch. After graduating from Central High School, she was employed at Stock Growers National Bank. On March 25, 1952 she married Rex Frye.

They lived in Reno, Nevada; Lusk, WY, and moved to Cheyenne in 1963. During those years she was a homemaker. She had a heart for children and spent years as a caregiver for family and those she embraced as family.

The coffee pot was always on and the door was always open. Helen is survived by her sister Margie (Bob) Sullivan; daughters Karen (Bill) Obermeier, Donna (Chuck) James; son Ron (Lanette) Frye; grandchildren Jessica (Aaron) Pelto, Dustin (Joanna) Horsburgh, Colton (Jamie) Horsburgh, Kaylee (George) Marcott, Kelsey James; Randy, Kyle, and Jillian Frye, honorary grandchildren Elizabeth Dunegan and Vincent Wagoner, eleven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family, the Hoadley’s and Wagoner’s. She was preceded in death by her parents.
