Helen’s Obituary Funeral service for Helen Gaye Mitchell, 74, of Hanceville’s Riverbend community will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at noon prior to service. Burial will follow at Mt.

Grove Congregational Cemetery. The daughter of the late Claude and Elnor Thompson was born in Corner, Alabama and was a retired LPN having worked in local nursing homes. She is survived by her husband, Jack Mitchell.

Children; Van Mitchell, Charlie (Karen) Mitchell and Wes (Ginger) Mitchell. Grandchildren; Seth (Amanda) Mitchell, Jordyn Mitchell, Bradley Davis, Zander Mitchell and Mylie Mitchell. Great Grandchildren are Indie Jo, Taylon, Greyson and Ryker Mitchell.

Also surviving are her siblings Laura Harris and Jerry Thompson along with a brother-in-law, Joe Mitchell.
