Obituary for Helen Gintout Fudala On the morning of January 11, 2019, our Daddy took Mom by the hand and led her home. Helen G. Fudala was born on January 10, 1934 in Port Richmond, VA to the late Henry and Valeria Gintout. On July 24, 1954 she married the love of her life, George A. Fudala, who passed away in 2007.

She is also preceded in death by her sister Mary Ann Gintout, her brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Jane Gintout and her daughter-in-law Kitty Fudala. Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her children Donna Fudala, Gregg Fudala and Jeff Fudala (Sue); her grandchildren Brandon Fudala (Sarah), Matt Marquardt (Austin), Jeffrey Fudala (Tracy), Kaddie Marquardt and Caroline Fudala; her great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Claire, Maddie and Charlotte Fudala; a brother John Gintout (Barbara); her sister-in-law Theresa Liverman, former son-in-law Pete Marquardt and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to her caregivers over the years and the staff of Riverside Hospice and Convalescent Center for the love and care given to her.

And a very heartful thanks to our friends and family for your love and support during Mom’s struggle with Alzheimer’s. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 15th at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA 23181. Interment will follow in St. Theresa Cemetery.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, www. alz.org.
