Obituary for Helen Harmon Harrelson Helen Harmon Harrelson, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, April 19, 2018, at her home. Born June 27, 1941, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Samuel L. Harmon, Sr. and Jennie Hendrix Harmon. Mrs. Harrelson was devoted to her family and assisted her husband in the family business, Harrelson Plumbing.

She was the 1961 Spartanburg Methodist College Beauty Queen, a member of Roebuck Baptist Church, and retired paralegal for Attorney Roy Smith. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Michael “Mike” Harrelson; son, Henry Harrelson of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Ruth Reeves (Gene) of Tucker, GA; and brother, Sam Harmon of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Roebuck Baptist Church, 1979 E. Blackstock Rd.

, Roebuck, SC 29376. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Roebuck Baptist Church, by The Rev. Dr. Tim Williams.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
