Obituary for Linda Cherry Pierce Linda Cherry Pierce, 71, of Pauline, SC, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at home. Born November 1, 1946 in Spartanburg, SC, was the daughter of the late Walter Eugene Cherry and Genevieve Houston Gosnell, and former wife of James Arthur Pierce. Linda was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Spartanburg as well as a longtime employee of the church.

Survivors include daughters, Tammy Hooper of Augusta, GA, Catina Gray (Brian) of Campobello, SC, Chanteau Abblett (Todd) of Pauline, SC, Luciana “Lucy” Sizemore (Steve) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Alyssa Renee Switzer (Zeb), Austin James Gray (Rebekah), Rhen Arlo Blackwood, Emilia Ann Abblet, Michael Edward Abblett, Taylor Glenn Sizemore, Corey Reepe Sizemore; great grandsons, Elijah Wilson Gonzalez, and Andrew James Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by a son, John Ed Tillotson, Jr., sister, Patricia Arlo Black, brother, Walter “Butch” Cherry, Jr., and son in law, Tom Hooper. A Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev.

Sam Davis, the Rev. Keith Phillips, and the Rev. Sal Barone.
