Helen Joyce Benson, age 91, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018. She was born August 20, 1926 in Louisville, Illinois and was employed as a sales representative with Scripture Press. Joyce was a member of Lilburn Alliance Church.

Preceded in death by her husband of nearly 70 years, Warren Joseph (Bud) Benson, she is survived by her 5 children, Lowell (Janice) Benson of West Chicago, IL, Carol (Terry) Travis of Lawrenceville, Janice (Jim) Carl of Lawrenceville, Paul (Ellen) Benson of Lakewood, CA and Beth (Rob) DaMitz of Lombard, IL; 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sisters, Jo Ellen Gullett of Carmel, IN and Karen Taylor of Sun City West, AZ. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Lilburn Alliance Church with Pastor Fred Hartley, III officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.

A cryptside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 7th at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville. Arrangements by Bill Head Funeral Homes & Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, (770) 564-2726.
