Ronald Roe, born 11/18/39 in Marion, IN. , son of Wayman and Norma Roe went home to the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 24th, 2018. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 49 years, Virginia, whom he affectionately called Ginny.

They lived most of their married life in Lilburn, GA, where they raised their 2 sons, Christopher Nash and Michael Roe. Ron retired from Wachovia, where he worked as an architect. After volunteering many years with Voices of Evangelism, they moved to Riceville, TN in 2014 to live closer to the ministry where he felt called to serve.

Ron loved staying busy and tinkered with anything to not be “idle”. His biggest passion was his family and he would do anything to please them. He doted on his grandchildren as often as he could.

Corry Nash (son of Chris Nash of Lilburn), Eli Roe, Ethan Roe, and Kirsten Roe (children of Mike and Linnea Roe of Lilburn) were his pride and joy. He often told stories of his adventures with them and would try to instill his “grandpa” wisdom into each. He is also survived by his brother, Roger Roe of Elwood, IN, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well.

His funeral will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at 11:00 am at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth with U.S. Army military honors. His family will receive friends, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, (770) 564-2726.
