Horace Henry Story passed away the morning of July 6th, 2018 at the age of 83, after a brief and challenging battle with pulmonary fibrosis. This Korean War Army Veteran leaves behind a wife, Ruth Meaders Story, and a long standing beautiful marriage of 64 years . In his passing, he reunites with a daughter, Genise Brown.

However, he leaves behind another daughter, Taffy Ellex and son-in-law Brian, and a son, Scott Story. Horace was a grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. This native to Tucker, Georgia and graduate of Lilburn High School (class of ’54) will be dearly missed by the family he leaves behind.

Horace will always reside in his loved ones’ hearts and minds and his character and guidance will be passed along through the generations to come. Horace placed value in family, having a kind heart, working hard, and always being willing to make sacrifices for the sake of others. His jokes, his stories, and his laughter, will always be remembered and missed by those that were fortunate enough to know him.

Please help us honor this brave and compassionate man at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel (770-564-2726) on Tuesday, July 10th,2018. Viewing to begin at 11am-12pm. Funeral service begins at 12pm (noon) with procession to Floral Hill Memorial Gardens in Tucker at 12:30pm.
