Beverly Gayle Trawick, age 51, of Cumming, GA passed into the loving arms of God on September 19, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday September 30, 2018 at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel. 3088 Duluth Hwy, Duluth, GA 30096.

The family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel, 770-476-2535. A catered dinner will be served after to reminisce with friends and family at a location to be determined. Miss Trawick was born in Atlanta and she was raised in the city of Duluth, GA.

She was a Duluth Wildcat cheerleader and loved this small town. She had many lifelong friends from Duluth that will always hold a special place in their heart for her. Beverly attended the University of Georgia where she received a Bachelors in Education.

Beverly also received a Masters degree in Reading at Lincoln Memorial with a Specialist in Education. Beverly Gayle was a devoted, loyal and loving daughter to mother Kathy Trawick and to her sister, brother-in-law and niece. She always had a kind work for everyone and her smile was warm and inviting.

She was the best friend you could have with a quick laugh and also quite the prankster. She was an ESOL teacher at Brookwood Elementary School for 22 years. As a teacher, Beverly loved and was loved by her co-workers and students.

The people at Brookwood Elementary school were her family. She wanted all of her students to feel special, loved and made sure they learned a lot.
