Helen’s Obituary Helen L. Ford, 76, of rural Marshall, died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at her home. Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Ridge Park Cemetery with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association and an online guestbook is available at www. campbell-lewis.com Born June 5, 1942, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Newton and Clara Breshears Newton. On November 11, 1959, she married Bobby Wayne Ford, who survives of the home.

Helen lived in Marshall her entire life where she was a homemaker. Through the years she had worked at various businesses in Marshall including working at Wal-Mart, where she retired after 17 years of service. In addition to her husband, Bobby; she is survived by four children: Pam Anderson (Rick) of Slater, Randall D. Ford (Donna) of Sweet Springs, Terry D. Ford of Marshall, and Julie Dawson (Scott) of Marshall; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy McKown and Jane Gerlt, both of Marshall; several nieces and nephews; as well as her dog, Sadie; and two cats, Patches and Boots.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald LeRoy Newton; and one sister, Judy Kay Newton.
