Obituary for Helen Laverne Farris Mrs. Helen Laverne (Clark) Farris, born on April 13, 1942 in Independence, Missouri, to the late Leona Lee Cole and the late Virgil Leroy Clark, passed away at age 76 on December 8, 2018. She was a House Wife. Helen was the beloved wife of Jerry Farris of 49 years.

She was also a great mother to her son. She is survived by husband Jerry Farris and their son, Jerry Lester Farris; brother, Virgil Eugene Clark; and sisters, Betty J Green, Nancy Archuleta, and Vivian Korstange. She also leaves behind her greatly loved dog, Jack.

Friends and family can pay their respects at the memorial service on Sunday, December 16 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. The memorial service will be at Maywood Baptist Church, 10505 E Winner Rd, Independence.
